The N.S Hema Memorial Award recognises the exemplary work of an NGO (organisation) working in the field of disability in South India for a minimum period of 3 years. The Award, instituted in 2017, and held on 4th October every year, honours the recipient organization with a citation, a trophy, and a cheque of ₹1 lakh.
We are happy to inform you that the N.S.Hema Memorial Award application form is available in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam, apart from English. You may fill up the application in any of the preferred languages and submit it along with the attachments, all online.
TIMELINE
The call for applications for the N S Hema Memorial Award 2021 is open from 22 July to 20 August 2021 (the last date extended on request from NGOs). NGOs working in the field of disability in South India for a minimum period of 3 years, can apply via the online application form provided below.

Please note:
The deadline for submissions of applications is 20 August 2021.
Please visit the APD website (www.apd-india.org) to get updates from the 2nd week of August.
Shortlisted participants will be informed by the last week of August.
The jury will contact the shortlisted applicants by the 1st week of September 2021.
The applicants will be called for a face to face or online interview.
The jury team may visit the finalists on-site for more specific details if required.
The winner will be officially recognized at the N S Hema Memorial Award function scheduled on 4 October 2021.
