CCRT/CCCG Physiotherapy is an added advantage
A minimum of 2 -5 years in the Paediatrics field serving any of the areas related to autism, cerebral palsy, mental retardation, mmultiple disabilities, chronic mental illness, dementia and other disabling conditions or in the area of Locomotors Impairmen

  4. Must be a good team player, able to work across different functions
  5. Good oral and written English is advised
  6. Spoken Kannada would be desirable

Necessary Skills : The candidate must have skills and professional qualities to be able to coordinate all aspects of intervention like physiotherapy, speech intervention and other skills. Some of the most important skills needed are good organization and collaboration skills, high energy level, ability to multi-task, and comprehension of medical terminology and unusual medical conditions, must also have an aptitude for and fundamental understanding of early childhood development as well as educational practices to meet and foster cognitive, physical, and emotional needs and development. Must have the ability to work with parents and community.

Detailed Job Description
  • Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the running of in Bangalore & provide rehabilitation support to SRC inmates   staying in urban SRC.
  • To provide therapy intervention for the SCI beneficiaries, assist the referral to hospitals for surgery, medical intervention and follow-up various therapy for SRC inmates and community people
  • Periodical visit and support to the RSO partners’ SRC as on when needed and assigned by the management to deliver therapeutic support
  • Ensure network and rapport with medical professionals, Hospital visits, home visits & follow-up of surgeries, Aids & Appliances needs to address in the community.
  • To indentify the training needs of parents, care givers and raise the request to provide them appropriate training and skills required for the effective working in the community for the same develop short term training package and materials through the Central team
  • Co-ordinate within Orthotics & Physiotherapy and motivate towards Aids & Appliances, Assistive devices, Accessibility and home modification and ensuring their delivery
  • To deliver and ensure appropriate intervention programmes for Spinal cord injury beneficiaries
  • To ensure proper data is recorded for monthly report and documenting status of beneficiaries from time to time.
  • To take on additional responsibilities assigned by Management as on when needed
