Dear Sir/Madam,

The Association of People with Disability (APD) is a non–government organization, striving ceaselessly in the field of disability for over five decades. Aiming to empower persons with disabilities to become active contributors to society. At any given time though its wide-ranging programs APD touches lives of over ten thousand people with disability. APD has various institutional and community based services for providing education, therapy and vocational training and employment services for persons with disability from both rural and urban areas, those belonging to poor socio-economic background as priority. We are happy to inform you that The Association of People with Disability (APD) is organizing Training on "Team Work and Leadership Development" for Programme Managers, Managers, Project Coordinators, Coordinators, Field Coordinators, Community Affairs Officers, etc. And people who are involved in team building and leadership development would be benefiting the maximum from this course at Anandashram,Srinivasapura-Taluk, Kolar, During March 13th to 17th 2009.

The objective of the course is to enable the Leaders of organization to have proper understanding & the importance of Team work and Leadership development. And also to gain the required skills & knowledge to do their job efficiently.

Usually we see teams functioning at the following levels in a development organization-

The Core Team in charge of organization management.
At the Middle Level a group of people who usually plan, implement and monitor the activities and
The field based teams who interact with the community on a regular basis and implement the activities.

The filled in nomination form along with the programme fee of Rs. 6500/-should reach us by 25th of February 2009.
